Dan McNallyThe McNally Fund for Christian Character-In-Action is designed to focus our attention upon the important goal of Christian education. Dan McNally served as the Assistant Administrator at Immanuel Christian School from 1997 – 2005. He died in June 2005 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. The McNally Fund provides financial assistance for students who attended 7th and 8th grade at ICS for programs and training that promote Christian character in action during their high school and college years.

There are two components to this fund:

  • Scholarships, which are available to every graduate of ICS.
  • The McNally Award for Christian Character-In-Action, which is given to one 8th grade student each year.

MCNALLY FUND SCHOLARSHIPS

Applicants for McNally Scholarships are granted up to $200 for qualifying service/leadership projects. Eligibility requirements are:

  • Applicants must have completed 8th grade at Immanuel Christian School.
  • Scholarships are only available during high school, college or for qualifying projects during a gap year that occurs before age 22.
  • Eligible programs include summer short-term mission trips, inner city ministry projects, local church ministry internships, Biblical training and leadership programs such as Summit Ministries conferences, etc.
  • Applications should be received 30 days prior to the program or project start date.

Application

MCNALLY CHRISTIAN CHARACTER-IN-ACTION AWARD

An ICS 8th grade student who receives the McNally Award for Christian Character-In-Action is eligible to receive a scholarship for up to $1,000. Eligibility requirements are:

  • Applicants must have been the recipient of the McNally Award for Christian Character-In-Action must have attended 7th & 8th grade at Immanuel Christian School.
  • Award funds are only available during high school, college or for qualifying projects during a gap year that occurs before age 22.
  • Eligible programs include summer short-term mission trips, inner city ministry projects, local church ministry internships, Biblical training and leadership programs such as Summit Ministries conferences, etc.
