TravelTerm is a condensed, month-long semester where students spend time in the classroom immersed in history, geography, Biblical studies, and practical life skills before traveling outside the classroom for 10-12 days. These international trips allow students to taste, see, and experience first-hand what they have been studying. The goal is for students to experience a new culture each year.

During each TravelTerm semester, students select topics that guide their research papers, sidewalk talks, and presentations, igniting meaningful life-long learning. As students research history, culture, current events, and other disciplines, they see the places in their research and their learning is embedded in the cultures they experience.
This month of education is an exciting, fast-paced adventure where studentes experience the classroom curriculum in a whole new light, immersing themselves in new cultures and vibrant learning opportunities.
TravelTerm Destinations
italy
Students immerse themselves in the origins and achievements of the Renaissance in Rome, Milan, Venice, and Pompeii.
england & scotland
As students climb the Tower of London and walk the streets of Edinburgh, they examine the foundations of Western civilization.
greece or israel*
While they sit among the ruins of Athens or explore the rocky outcrops of Ephesus, students study the Apostle Paul’s words where he originally preached.
*Israel is a destination when politically stable.
Kenya
In this missions-focused trip, students learn about local ministries and partner with our sister school.
