Mrs. Jan Yantz – Barton Specialist & Former 4th Grade TA
For the last 20 years Mrs. Jan Yantz has lovingly served Immanuel Christian School. Mrs. Yantz has invested her time and talents in the lives of hundreds of 4th grade students in her 17 years as a 4th grade TA. Some favorite fourth grade memories include The Case of the Missing Parts of Speech play, the topographical green clay maps of Virginia (with homemade dough), and Colonial Day when students and teachers dress up in 18th century costumes and bring social studies to life! Mrs. Yantz faithfully taught and listened to hundreds of Bible verses that encouraged students to be strong and courageous in the Lord. For many years, every 4th grade student was taught by Mrs. Yantz because she was the TA to BOTH 4th grade classes! Almost 3 years ago, she had the opportunity to expand her skills and transitioned to the Educational Services Team as a Barton Specialist. In both positions Mrs. Yantz has shone brightly with the love of Christ in the education of ICS students. Thank you for your continued faithful service to the ICS community, Mrs. Yantz!
