Our recent high school expansion makes our institution a program that provides a college preparatory, comprehensive K-12th grade program with two campuses offering challenging and engaging academics with a distinctively biblical worldview. Our kids are growing a thirst for God's Word every day from their teachers and administrators and staff who are thirst for it too. Yes, ICS is academically challenging. ICS is safe and provides a great learning environment. Our kids receive Bible teaching and memorize verses. But there are other schools in this city they can get those things - even the Bible teaching. But at ICS, the Word of God is sinking into the souls of my children. And God is using my children to teach and encourage me. We are so grateful to be a part of this community. In a world turned upside down, we praise God for our school that is committed to the unchanging Word of God that provides the foundation for the integration of faith and learning.

The teachers are WONDERFUL! They truly care about the students, not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and spiritually as well. The school has a solid Christian foundation. Christian principles and ideals are built into the curriculum and every interaction with the students which in turn leads the children to develop a sense of a Biblical Worldview at a very young age. The minister at a church we visited after moving was extremely impressed with the boys' knowledge of the Bible and how it applied to their daily living. The administration is accessible and supportive of parents and students. The academics are solid, but the true strength of ICS is its heart: from the Head of School all the way down to the students.

Immanuel Christian School is worth the investment because the learning environment has transformed our son into a student who is absolutely engaged with learning. The school has lit a fire in our son to want to finish assignments with excellence. It is as if his teacher has surfaced in him a desire to learn, probe and question. The transformation exceeds anything we could have hoped for regarding him. We now have a resource rich community of teachers and staff who intentionally partner with us. For the first time, we have a sense of balance, trust and hope that both of our children will be given every opportunity to grow into who they were designed to be. The academic rigor coupled with the warmth of the staff create a place where our children eagerly embrace learning. Our children anchor the excitement of academic learning with the God who made them. ICS ensures that there is no disconnect between the two. They are challenged to see every subject matter as a window into the mind of God. This is thrilling! The school saturates not only their minds but their hearts with a deep concern for others and an intense love for the LORD. Each year, our high school students begin the school year with a retreat, digging into God`s Word together and building friendships. Each student reflects on a trait to live out for the year, writing it on a rock and adding that rock to a pile begun when our high school opened.

Throughout the retreat, students meditated on this year`s theme verse: "Jesus answered, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.`" -John 14:6.

We are excited to see what the year holds for these young men and women!

Last Friday we had the privilege of hosting our entire K-12 community for our annual Back to School picnic! It was so much fun gathering together for a car wash, giant bounce houses, face painting, and, of course, hot dogs and concessions. It was a great way to kick off the school year!

He`s here! We`re thrilled to welcome our new Head of School, Dr. Nathan Stevens. He and his family come to us from Smyrna, GA, where Dr. Stevens served as the Assistant Head for Academic Affairs at Whitefield Academy.

We are so proud of our first graders! Students walked down a red carpet and expressively read several fable adaptations for their families at our annual First Grade Readers Theater. 📖🤩

A group of fourth grade students created businesses and sold their hand-made products at a special fair last week. Enterprises included "It`s Time to Slime," "Terrific Trinkets," and "Gooey Goodies" and students of all grades (and teachers!) were lining up for our young entrepreneurs` awesome products.
