ALL: Announcement from Mr. Danish: Introducing Our New Middle School Principal

Dear Parents,

The ICS administration has been actively looking for someone to step into the role of Middle School Principal this year. The Principal Search Committee has been active for the past few months, reviewing and revising the job definition, posting announcements, considering inquiries, reviewing applicants and interviewing candidates. We received résumés from a wide variety of highly qualified applicants. In the end, we narrowed the search to two candidates with each candidate undergoing an extensive interview process involving members of our administration and faculty.

Given the unusual timing of this search, with a desire to fill the Middle School Principal position, we were particularly pleased with the caliber of our final candidates, either of whom would be capable of filling this position. In the end, we believe God used the search process to lead us to a clear decision. We are pleased to announce that the Search Committee, with input from members of the administration and faculty, arrived at a unanimous decision to recommend Ben Frenchak for our new Middle School Principal. Ben has agreed to begin his duties at the beginning of July.

Ben Frenchak brings 23 years of educational experience to Immanuel Christian School. From teaching nationally recognized band programs to leading worship to coaching soccer, Ben brings a variety of experiences to ICS. Most recently, Ben led a Christian school in the Shenandoah Valley, where he served as principal and pastor. While there, he emphasized character, academics, and ministry as well as led the annual 8th grade mission’s trips to Mexico City, taught Bible classes and guided weekly life groups. As Ben and his family transition to ICS, they look forward to a new adventure of building relationships, sharing the love of Christ and connecting with the amazing legacy of excellence represented by the ICS family.

We want to thank all who contributed to the review process, and all who supported us through prayer and encouragement. We believe God has worked through this search to show us His leading. Please continue to pray for Ben and his family through the transition ahead. We are excited to see him join the ICS leadership team this summer.

In His service,
Stephen Danish

ALL: Employment Openings at Immanuel Christian School

Every year at this time we look ahead to the end of year when we will say goodbye to various teachers and staff members. This year, we anticipate the majority of our teachers and staff will return. However, we also need to be proactive and start the recruitment process when the majority of highly qualified educational professionals are engaged in the search process. It is also prudent for us to recruit for a wide variety of positions in anticipation of possible openings. Please help spread the word for the following: ICS is now accepting applications for teachers (Middle School, and High School). All teaching positions are full time and require an education degree and classroom experience. We also have an openings for an Orchestra Director (part time). Additional openings include part time administrative office support positions including a bookkeeper (part time) and an IT Specialist (full time). Visit for more details and to apply.
