What led you into teaching?
I knew I wanted to work with children. I love learning and I believe God has gifted me with the ability to teach, so I chose to teach children at a Christian school to serve God and use the gifts He’s blessed me with. 😊
What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?
I love seeing the children each and every day. I love reading them new books and playing learning games with them. I love listening to their stories and seeing them grow as learners.
Which subject is your favorite to teach?
I love to teach Language Arts: reading, spelling, and writing.
What makes ICS different from other schools?
ICS has the most wonderful families and staff. I am happy to be surrounded by individuals that love the Lord and that encourage one another each and every day. I love how kind and generous the parents at ICS are. I love meeting new families each year. I feel very blessed!
How would you like to be remembered by your students?
I hope they would remember how much they are loved and prayed for each day! I hope I can encourage them in their walk with Jesus.
What would your advice be to parents whose children are about to start first grade?
Get ready to see an explosion of learning and academic growth in all subject areas! You will be AMAZED!
