Admissions – Friday, February 16 is our next First Look Friday Open House.  The Just Around the Corner event for K-4th grade parents will be Thursday, February 8.  Please pray for good attendance at each of these events.  We continue to pray that God will bring families to ICS whose children will benefit from what we offer at ICS.

Homecoming Basketball Game: Tuesday, February 6 and ICS Spirit Week: February 5-9

The ICS Varsity Basketball teams will take on Trinity Christian School on Tuesday, February 6. There will be halftime activities and special concessions as well. Pray for good sportsmanship, teamwork and Christ-likeness demonstrated on and off the court.

To celebrate ICS Spirit Week, we will have themed dress down days as well as a door decorating contest with the theme ‘WE ARE….’ This is to highlight the characteristics of the ICS student body – we are leaders, we are Christ-followers, we are servant-hearted. Each homeroom will have the opportunity to depict what it means to be an ICS student.

Pray for fun and school spirit throughout the week for students and teachers alike, that we’d all be drawn together in community.

CIA Projects – Pray for each class as they continue their projects in the community and with our partner public schools.  Please pray that students would develop true hearts for service through our Character In Action ministries. Please pray for new opportunities to Skype with our sister school in Romania, for smooth technical connections and good communications between classes.

Basketball Season – Pray for the four basketball teams and for Travis Briggs, our Athletic Director, as they continue this season. Upcoming basketball tournaments will be the weeks of February 12 and 19. May the student players learn important lessons of teamwork and good sportsmanship while they have fun competing with other schools.

Please pray for the coaches:
Jr. Varsity Boys – Dale Pinkley, Michael Boone and Bruce Burnside
Varsity Boys – David Mucciaro & Scott Adams
Jr. Varsity Girls – Jason Gray & Claire Boswell
Varsity Girls – Sarah Pinkley & Gary Young

Parent Volunteers — We thank God for each and every one of you who has served in some way this school year.  We could not fulfill our mission here at ICS without all of your help and support!

High School Discussions/Decisions — Pray for guidance for our school board and high school committee as they continue to make plans for the ICS high school.  Pray especially for curriculum development, fundraising efforts, student and faculty recruitment and details regarding location. Praise for progress made so far and prayers already answered.
