Automatic Re-Enrollment for 2017-2018 – FACTS Account Withdrawal March 24

If you are planning for another one of your children to come to ICS for the 2017-2018 school year, now is the time to apply! Applications are steadily coming in and space is limited. Log on to your online application account to begin the sibling application today. Sibling application fees are only $75. Forgot your username or password or have any questions? Tuition Assistance

Applications for tuition assistance are processed online by FACTS. All required documentation is due by April 1, 2017. There is a processing fee of $30 for this service. Please remember that a new online application must be completed each year you request tuition assistance.  Details are available on our website under Tuition and Financial Aid.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week: March 20-23

The ICS Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon date is fast approaching on Tuesday, March 21! Every year the Parent Teacher Fellowship hosts this event along with the parents of 1st and 4th graders, but we still need a small army of parent volunteers to help with the many details involved in serving lunch to about 100 employees.  There are volunteer opportunities that you can complete at home in the weeks before the event or you could volunteer to set up, serve or clean up on the day of the luncheon.  Sign up on Parent Square to help.   Search “Appreciation” in your ParentSquare posts. Visiting Day is March 23! Invite a friend to attend ICS for a day!

Do you know of a family who is considering a change to private Christian school? Perhaps they have considered Immanuel but feel they need more information? We are offering a great opportunity to show what ICS is all about. Current 3rd through 7th grade students are encouraged to invite a friend to school on Thursday, March 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All visitors will enjoy a pizza lunch as well! We are excited to announce our Spring After School Clubs which will begin at the end of March. This session includes Choir, 3D Printing, Chess, Soccer Shots, Art Club, Lego Club and Martial Arts. ICS Talent Show - Immanuel’s Got Talent!

It’s time to start preparing for the 6th annual ICS Talent Show…Immanuel’s Got Talent! We are excited to see what new talent this year brings! We are looking for a variety of acts from students in 5th through 8th grade to be showcased during an all-school assembly on Friday, June 2nd (1:30 – 3:00 p.m.). Acts may be individual or group and should be no longer than four minutes in length. Students can sign up to audition and pick up a permission form in order to participate. Job Openings for 2017-2018

ICS is now accepting applications for Lower School Teachers, Upper School Teachers, Lower School Teaching Assistants (part time) and Art Teacher (part time). All teaching positions are full-time and require an education degree and classroom experience. Visit for more details and to apply.

Spring Sports

  • Coaching Opportunities The ICS athletic department is currently looking for passionate and qualified individuals who are willing to coach boys’ softball, or girls’ lacrosse. This is a great way to invest in our students as they look to you for an example of how to honor and glorify God in the arena of athletics and life. This is a commitment of no more than three afternoons a week with absolutely no weekends or holidays required. If interested please click here  and fill out an application. Donations Needed for Library Used Book Sale

The library is now accepting gently used donations of Children’s and Young Adult fiction, Adult fiction and all ages Non-Fiction for our Used Book Sale coming this Spring. The Used Book Sale dates are May 31-June 1 (Wednesday-Thursday) 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. in the school library (Room C202). ICS Basketball Camp: June 19-23

Mark your calendars!  ICS will again host its annual ‘funtastic’ basketball camp from Monday – Friday, June 19-23.  Camp will be held in the ICS Gym from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Basketball camp is for both boys and girls entering 4th – 9th grades. More information to follow soon.

Hello, MOPS moms! Next Meeting March 13

Our next MOPS meeting is Monday, March 13 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  in Room A207. We will enjoy Italian-themed foods for dinner, plus dessert! Our speaker is Shelbie Olson on the topic of shame and guilt “Putting on Radiance – Climbing Out From Under Shame and Guilt.

EMOMS: Meeting March 15

Moms who have elementary children will be meeting Wednesday, March 15 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in Room A207.  Rock Recovery Executive Director, Christie Dondero will be speaking on her story of recovery from an eating disorder and what she wishes more parents knew about keeping themselves and their kids healthy.

IBC Women’s Conference – March 24 & 25

Mark your calendars for “Be Still-Finding True Rest for Your Soul” on March 24-25 at Immanuel Bible Church.  Take a break from the frenzy and join our speaker Vicki Courtney to discover the good news that God can restore your body, soul and spirit. Vacation Bible School at IBC: June 26-30

Mark your calendars for June 26-30 for the week of Vacation Bible School.

  • AM Program – 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (4 years old by 9/30/17 – entering 3rdgrade)
  • PM Program – 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (entering 4th– entering 6th grades)

Registration begins May 1st. $20 per child. Hope to see you there!
