Prayer Guide February 8 – 26, 2016

Admissions – Please pray for good attendance at these next two events: First Look Friday on February 26 and the Just Around the Corner program on February 19. Please continue to pray for God to bring to ICS the families of His choice for next school year.

New Students – Please pray for two new students who just moved here from overseas. They are in 4B (Lucy) and 6A (Maya).

April 15th ICS Gala – Please pray for the Gala committee as they finalize details for “A Night at the Ballpark”.

Elementary Choir – Please pray for Cindy Wade as she directs the Choir and prepares them for their Spring musical, and also their brief performance at the ICS Gala on April 15, in the evening.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship – Please pray especially for Kay Hoffman, our current PTF coordinator, as she puts together a team of parents to plan upcoming events.

Basketball Season – Please pray for the basketball teams as they practice and complete this season, and learn good sportsmanship. Pray for the coaches: Varsity Girls – Sarah & Dale Pinkley; Varsity Boys – Rich Bates & Kurt Overman; JV Boys – David Mucciaro; JV Girls – Vanessa Simms.

Parents in Prayer – Please join us on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 a.m. after morning drop-off, in Room B201.
You are welcome to drop in when you can, especially when your child’s class is being featured.

February 9 – God is Holy

To pray for our own children: But just as You who called ________ is holy, so may ________ be holy in all he/shedoes; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” From I Peter 1:15-16

February 16 – God is our Hope
Scripture:
Isaiah 40:28-31; Lamentations 3:21-25; Romans 15:4

To pray for our own children: May the God of hope fill ________ with all joy and peace as he/she trusts in You, so that ________ may overflow with hope by the power of Your Holy Spirit.   From Romans 15:13

February 23 – God is Just
Scripture:
Psalm 9:7-8; Romans 3:23-26; Revelation 15:3

 To pray for our own children: May ________ act justly and love mercy and walk humbly with You. From Micah 6:8b

Please pray for the following ICS Administrators:

For Diane Carnahan, Mandy Croushore and Sharon Dotson:

  • Many plans are being made for the next school year.  Please pray for us as we balance our responsibilities for this year and oversee the scheduling of the calendar, re-enrollment procedures and new personnel programs for next year at the same time.
  • Praise that the budget decisions are made for next year and that new tuition amounts have been established  by the school board.
  • Please pray for us in general as we continue to balance our own work and family schedules.

Prayer Requests:  Please pray for the continued growth and development of the children. Specifically, that Jesus would be rooted in their hearts. Please pray for health in our classroom and for daily stamina for Mrs. Booth and Mrs. Kruger.

8th Grade B – Billy Robinson, Teacher

Character Traits:  Humility, Love, Patience and Wisdom

Prayer Requests:  Please pray that these students will seek to honor Christ, through their humility and love for their neighbors.  Pray that they will be able to rightly divide the Word of Truth, and be effectively capable of giving a reason for the hope that is within them, as they prepare for attending high school in the fall.
