Thank you parents for your generosity!

  • The faculty and staff send a BIG thank you to parents for the generous show of appreciation during Teacher Appreciation Week. The luncheon was delicious and the gift baskets were amazing. It’s so fun to hear the stories of those who won the different gift baskets. The Middle School teachers appreciated the great snack food that was set out for them during the week as well. Thank you for showing your support in tangible ways to the ICS team. We are truly blessed to have such great faculty and staff at ICS and equally blessed to have so many wonderful parents show support for the ICS team throughout the entire school year.
  • We thank the PTF, especially Dee Rutkowski, Kay Hoffman and Sharon Bittinger, and Shelly Luisi for organizing this big event. What an amazing team you are!

Faculty Updates for 2015-16

Each year, we say farewell to faculty members. Some are moving, others are new mothers, and several are retiring or taking a leave of absence.  We want to thank the following employees for their years of faithful service to students, parents, co-workers and above all, the Lord: Jessie Abella,  Christi Colyer, Lorena McCurdy, Ashley Waldroup, Chris Pate, Nancy Ferrell, Wayne Davis and Mary Jo Copeland.

The following people are changing positions: Jody Lubenec will be moving out of the Kindergarten TA position to become the 1st-4th grade Bible teacher and Allison Masson, also a Kindergarten TA, will become the Extended Care Director.  Linda Bethke will transition from her role as a 3rd grade teacher to a new position as a Classroom Resource Assistant. Sarah Garcia will now oversee the K-4th grade Spanish instruction and Erin Smith is leaving as the 6th grade Language Arts teacher to become the newly appointed Upper School Principal.  Currently, we are busy interviewing and making decisions about new candidates for these openings and look forward to welcoming another group of highly qualified, spiritually mature men and women the Lord will add to the ICS faculty.
