Praise the Lord!
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORD,
or declare all his praise?
Blessed are they who observe justice,
who do righteousness all the times!
Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people;
help me when you save them, that I may look upon
the prosperity of your chosen ones,
that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation,
that I may glory with your inheritance.
Psalm 106:1-5 (ESV)
Most of all, though, we are thankful that we serve a God who loved us so much that he sent Jesus Christ to be a sacrifice for our sin. And because of that great sacrifice, we can be in relationship with Him, forever.
Our students did this and wrote their thoughts down on “thankful bricks” which we used to build walls of thankfulness inside the school. We were amazed at the simplicity of what some students wrote and the thoughtfulness of others. Many, many students wrote “family” and “friends” but we were touched by the students who shared that they were thankful for “my brother” and “my adoptive family.”
We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing some of the things they wrote.
