The Christian education provided at ICS is a lifelong investment influencing every aspect of a young person's life. ICS tuition is reasonable, and our rates are competitive with other local Christian schools. Moreover, the school provides a program of financial assistance for families that demonstrate genuine financial need. Trusting God for tuition may be challenging, but God provides financial resources to parents every year and assurance that the sacrifice is worth it.  If you every have any questions about tuition or financial aid, please contact me.  I would be happy to serve you and your family.

The cost of educating our students is not covered by tuition alone. We trust God every year to provide for this ministry through gifts. The annual Partnership Fund is designed to communicate our fundraising needs to parents and friends in order to support the school financially. These gifts are tax deductible, and are often matched by employers and corporations through matching gift programs. Immanuel Bible Church also significantly underwrites the school ministry through the yearly provision of free classroom and office space, utilities, and custodial support. Without this help and the gifts from parents and friends, tuition rates would be much higher.

/files/Banners/Banner---Tuition-Assistance.jpg

Immanuel Christian School has a Tuition Assistance program for families demonstrating genuine financial need. Full disclosure of income, expenses, assets and liabilities is required when aid is requested, including a copy of the immediately preceding year’s federal tax return with all supporting schedules. Our assistance is not a scholarship program based on academic merit. It is solely based upon demonstrated financial need. Tuition Assistance applies only to tuition charges and is limited to a maximum of 50% of the net tuition due, after application of any appropriate discount.

Tuition Assistance applications will be processed initially by FACTS, our tuition management service, through their Grant & Aid Assessment program. This will be a confidential financial analysis. Applications should be submitted directly through the FACTS website at www.factstuitionaid.com  FACTS collects a $25 processing fee for this service, payable at the time of online application submission. Applications and all required documents are due by April 16th.

FACTS will make a recommendation based on parameters provided to them by the ICS School Board. The School Board will make final determinations regarding Tuition Assistance Awards. In order for your Tuition Assistance application to be considered, it is VERY important that ALL required information is received by the due date. All applicants will be notified of the ICS School Board decisions in late May, before June payments are due. Important additional information about requirements can be found in our letter to Tuition Assistance Applicants.

Until an application is approved, full monthly tuition is due. Exceptions may be granted on an individual basis. Families approved for assistance will have their June payment adjusted to compensate for the full monthly tuition paid in March. Returning families interested in continuing to receive aid MUST re-apply each year. Please understand that there is no guarantee that assistance will be approved or continued at the same level each year.

/files/Banners/Banner - Parent Service Hours_1.jpg

This is a concept that many Christian schools have used to involve parents more consistently in the life of the school. It helps every parent to take ownership in the ministry of Immanuel Christian School, to see the school in a practical and personal way, and to stand shoulder to shoulder with other parents in service activities. At the same time it extends tuition dollars by having volunteers perform some tasks that might otherwise have to be paid for through professional services.

The plan requires a total annual service-hours per family of 20 hours. Single-parent families will be required to fulfill half the number of service-hours. Parents who simply cannot give the time are required to pay a fee at the rate of $15 per hour. Parents are asked to track their own service-hours and to report them to the school office once each semester through ParentsWeb. Work-hours project ideas are solicited from the school board, PTF Committee, administration, and faculty and staff in an effort to help parents anticipate the ways they will be able to meet this requirement.
