ICS thanks you for your support of our Free Money Pro- grams. Please consider participating in each of the opportunities described below.
Grocery Scrip Program: Grocery Scrip orders for Giant and Shoppers Food Warehouse will again be available through the school office. Cards and certificates are easy to use and help you budget your grocery money. The cards and certificates are worth their face value, but the school receives a profit, which goes directly to the ICS Partnership Fund, on the sale of the scrip. In the past, ICS has earned nearly $2,000 from scrip sales. Anyone who wishes to join the Grocery Scrip Program may do so by filling out a Script Order Form and turning it in to the office Orders that are turned in by Friday, September 25, will be available for pick after October 1. Subsequent orders will be available for pick up the first of each month. If you have questions, please contact Sharon Dotson.
Gift Cards: Gift cards for select area merchants will be available for purchase through the ICS office. Stores such as: Starbucks, Panera, Domino's Pizza, grocery stores, etc. You buy the cards from ICS at their face value and simply use them to shop at your regular store or restaurant or give the cards as gifts. The merchant gives ICS a rebate based on the value of the card. Click here to access the order form and instructions or stop by the office for a form.
Giant Bonus Card: Each year you need to re-designate the school you would like to benefit from using your giant Bonus Card. You may sign up at any Giant store or by going to Giant’s website and click on “Designate Schools.” Our school code is 2077. When you use your Bonus Card, credit for your purchases made between October 2009 and April 2010 goes directly to the ICS. Last year ICS received nearly $700 through this program. Please renew now to avoid a lapse in participation.
Safeway Club Card: You can help our school by using your Safeway Club Card when making purchases. In order to participate in this fundraising ac- tivity, you must designate your donation to ICS each year. You may do so by using Safeway’s website www.escrip.com. The ICS identification number is 6518952. When you use your Safeway Club Card, credit for your purchases goes directly to ICS. In the past, ICS has received over $800 through this pro- gram. The higher the participation, the more funds we receive, so sign up today.
Harris Teeter: As you check out, ask the cashier to link your VIC card to our 09.23.09 school or register online at www.harristeeter.com. Our school ID number is 5117.
General Mills Box Tops for Education: Once again we will have a class com- petition. Last year ICS received $1000 from this program, so start clipping those Box Tops!
Target: Last year ICS received a donation resulting from purchases made at Target stores. For more information, please visit the Target website or inquire at a customer service center.
