Interactive Elements in Science Class

Mrs. Alvarado brought Science to life for her eighth graders this morning through 4D Elements, an augmented reality app that allows classes to watch elements interact before their eyes.

Students brought in their tablets and iPhones (with parental permission, of course!) and Mrs. Alvarado supplied the paper cubes offered as a free download through the app. Through their screens, students watched ordinary paper images spring to life and react with one another.

Not only does this help visual and kinesthetic learners connect with the material, but it reinforces our desire to help students become comfortable, advanced users of technology.
